College Readiness Group for High School Juniors and Seniors


DESCRIPTION:
This 6-week coed group will support in building executive function skills to prepare current high school juniors and seniors for their college journey. Individuals located anywhere in the US are able to attend virtually.

The group will focus on Planning and Prioritizing, Organizing, Time Management, Emotional Regulation, Assertiveness and Flexibility, as well as Setting and Achieving Goals.

WHEN:
Mondays 6:30-8pm CT for 6 weeks

  • Begins Monday, September 11, 2023

  • Last session is Monday, October 16, 2023

LOCATION:
Online video platform (Cameras are strongly encouraged)

COST:
$35/hour – Full 6-week attendance required

  • Small groups (6 participants or less) to allow for easier chatting and discussion

  • Skill building and time to practice skills in a community of High School Juniors and Seniors


SIGN UP:

This group is designed for anyone wanting to learn about, develop, and strengthen different executive function skills that will help with the transition into college. It will be led by Caren Kangas, an Executive Function and ADHD Coach. Caren has a background in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis.
